This year, pre Fashion Week, i worked along with the M.A.C team doing the makeup for Nom D at the Marr Factory Week. Amber D from M.A.C was the Key makeup artist for all the Marr Factory shows, and i was lucky enough to be team leader assisting Amber for the Nom D show. The makeup was beautiful using warm tones on the eyes and keeping the skin beautiful and creamy with gloss texture applied to the eye lids just before hitting the catwalk. Gloss on the eyelids is really current right now as numerous fashion week shows are using this makeup look of glossy eyelids, which makes the lids have a wet look. Brows are kept more natural this year, groomed and brushed up, unlike last season where brows were fuller and definitely more of a focus!! Highlight cheekbones using luna and pearl cream colour bases by M.A.C. These cream highlighting tones have been used a lot this year at Fashion Week to achieve a luminous highlight on the top of the cheekbones, middle of the nose and the cupid bow of the lip. Lips were kept nude using M.A.C Dim lip erase. This was a great show to work on.
To make this look more of an everyday wearable look, use warm eyeshadow shades up into the crease, contoured cheekbones, a glowing cream highlighter and a nude lipstick.
…….HAVE FUN!!!
